Within the curriculum of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Foreign Languages offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts minor in Russian. For students who began their studies at WMU prior to Fall 1996, the minor requires 20 credit hours from the classes listed above. For those who began in Fall 1996 or later, a 23-credit-hour minor is required. Only Russian courses in which a grade of "C" or better is obtained can be counted toward the minor. Any student who wishes to earn Russian credits through participation in a study abroad program, whether sponsored by WMU or another institution, should contact Dr. Dasha Nisula, 413 Sprau Tower, (269) 387-3005. A program must be approved before it is undertaken.
