The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines—has awarded WMU with its Excellence in Innovation Award for expanding higher education opportunities through the Seita Scholars Program.

Ball State business dean named WMU's next provost

After conducting a nationwide search, WMU has named Dr. Jennifer P. Bott, business dean at Ball State University, as its new provost and vice president for academic affairs, effective July 1.

Student awarded prestigious study abroad scholarship

Alexis Lenderman, an entrepreneurship and global and international studies major from Flint, is among just 1,000 undergraduate students nationwide to earn a Gilman International Scholarship to intern or study abroad.
