Society of Plastics Engineers
The WMU Student Chapter the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) was established in 1984. Every day, the SPE helps people and companies in the plastics industry to succeed by spreading knowledge, strengthening skills and promoting plastics. Today, the industry is more interdependent than ever, and professional networks have taken on global dimensions.
Participation in SPE is a key success factor for those students who want to pursue a career in the plastics industry. WMU Student Chapter focuses on both social and professional activities such as plant tours, trips to national and regional meetings and participation in events with the other RSO’s in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
