Call for Papers
The 2008 International Conference on Agile Manufacturing will be held at WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY (USA). The city of Kalamazoo and Western Michigan University provide an outstanding venue for meeting and discussing the latest advances in agile manufacturing methods and business processes. The conference will be preceded by a day of interactive workshops to allow delegates to get a deeper understanding of the fundamentals and recent significant advances in agile methodologies.
A key aspect of this conference is the strong mixture of academia and industry. This allows for the free exchange of ideas and discussion of challenges faced by these two key stakeholders in agile methodologies and encourages future collaboration between members of these groups.
This conference provides an excellent opportunity for you to update your understanding of agile methods from the design, manufacture and business process perspectives, whether you are an industrial practitioner, academic researcher, or engineering or business graduate student in this field.

Contributed Papers and Invited Session Proposals:
The organizing committee is soliciting paper contributions and invited session proposals. Paper review will be based on full-length papers. Invited session proposals should include a session title, and the abstracts of 5 to 6 papers together with the contact information for the session proposal.

Special Issue Publication in Journals:
All accepted papers will be published in a CD-ROM proceeding. Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference, and each manuscript must be accompanied by a paid registration.
Selected papers will be published in the International Journal of Simulations, Research and Applications, the International Journal of Manufacturing Systems, or the International Journal of Agile manufacturing. The authors will be asked to follow the procedure, applicable fees and schedule for publication.
