Jamin Otto graduated in 2006 with a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering. While working at the Human Performance Institute, he worked on a research project involving determining force requirements and lumbar pressure for a backrest that is rated as comfortable for two torso positions. He was involved in other projects that dealt with improving the scheduling system of nurses as well as researching nurse utilization and work demands by use of detailed time studies. His areas of specialty deal with operations research, statistics, and ergonomics.
