Anil Kumar, M.S.  



Anil R. Kumar is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering at Western Michigan University (WMU). He holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, India and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University, USA. He was a member of the Injury Prevention and Safety Committee and served as the student representative for the Engineering Graduate Research Council for Western Michigan University. Mr. Kumar was recoginzied as an All University Research and Creative Scholar in 2006.

Mr. Kumar is a research scientist at WMU's Human Performance Institute. Mr. Kumar's research interest is in the areas of product design, work measurement and analysis, time and motion study, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, low back injuries, and safety. Mr. Kumar is co-author of a number of international referred publications and has made presentations at a number of prestigious Industrial Engineering conferences. Mr. Kumar is a member of Human Factors Ergonomics Society, International Society of Occupational Ergonomics and Safety, and The American Society of Engineering Education.
