Howard E. Thompson Endowed Scholarship Fund for Physical Education

Eligible Majors

B.S. in Physical Education

Criteria

• The scholarship shall be awarded to a student majoring in physical education who is preparing for a professional career teaching in the public schools;
• Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Award Amount

To be determined by HPHE Department.

Additional Information

Decisions on the award are made during the Spring semester.  One-half of the award funds are disbursed to the student’s account during the following Fall semester and one-half are disbursed during the following Spring semester.  The student must have part-time or full-time status and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA during these semesters for the award funds to be disbursed.
