Training Series: Getting Back to the Basics

Human Resources continues its popular training series, but this time with a focus on supervisors of WMU staff compensation system (SCS) employees. All sessions are held at the Fetzer Center and are facilitated by HR staff and other WMU experts. Sessions are free and pre-registration is required. Register now.

Basic Training

Are you a new supervisor, manager, or director? Has it been a while since you've brushed up on your skills? Well, we are starting with the basics. Get reacquainted with the Employee Handbook. Managing Conflict - Building Collaboration

Dale Anderson of CEDRS is back and will focus on methods used to minimize and manage conflict. Learn the "dos" and "don’ts" of supervision and how to keep your department and the university out of trouble. Addressing Conduct

Moving forward with disciplinary action can be challenging, but is necessary when holding employees responsible for their actions and promoting a positive work environment.
