Transfer Express

[Schedule] [How to Register] [Questions?]

Transfer Express is a great way to get acclimated to Western Michigan University before fall semester kicks off. The four-day program focuses on meeting other transfer students, taking care of business, and attending sessions about advising, resources, and navigating WMU. There’s even a chance to start exploring Kalamazoo! As an added benefit, participants living in the residence halls move in three days early.

We’ve combined the best social and informational elements from several programs and rolled them into something uniquely geared for transfer students like you. When you register for Transfer Express, you are signing up for a great time and a chance to get a head start on everyone else. This is an event you don’t want to miss!

To register for Transfer Express, login to the GoWMU student portal. Click on the First-Year Experience Registration button under the New Student Orientation and Fall Welcome heading. Follow the Fall Welcome sign up directions, but indicate you are a transfer student as you enter your information. Your registration in Transfer Express will be confirmed.   Transfer Express is $80 per person and includes all expenses, including a T-shirt and meals.
