Deposit payment information
Two payments must be made before you can move into Spindler Hall. The first is your deposit payment. It is equivalent to one full month's rent and must be paid by:
Fall assignments Aug. 1
Spring assignments Dec. 1
Summer I assignments March 1
Summer II assignments May 1
You will receive an e-mail reminder with payment information prior to these dates. If your deposit payment is not received by the appropriate date, your application will be considered only after those who have paid on time.
The second payment is your first month's rent payment. This payment is pro-rated based on the day that you move in, and it is due prior to your move-in date. If you are receiving financial aid you may be able to defer your first month's rent payment and subsequent rent payments until your financial aid becomes available. A Financial Aid Deferment form will be sent with the payment information if a room is available. Your deposit payment is not deferrable.
Move-in inspection
You will be asked to complete a checklist when you move in. Your checklist form is due to the Spindler Hall office before items are moved in. It is in your best interest to be thorough when completing the form, as it will be used to assess damages at move-out time. If you fail to turn in your form, you will be assessed fees for all damages found by the staff member inspecting your room when you move out.
