Spindler Hall, located on the historic east campus, is one of the original residence halls on Western Michigan University's campus. The hall was built in 1940 as a women's dormitory. In the late 1980s, the hall was used as a fraternity house. In the early 1990s, the hall was renovated and is now used as an independent housing facility for doctoral, graduate, senior and non-traditional students. There are more than 80 rooms available to house students on three floors.
Spindler Hall offers an unstructured lifestyle in a sophisticated environment and provides an economical alternative to apartment living. We look forward to having you call Spindler Hall home.
