Business Community

Students majoring the Haworth College of Business or seeking a business-related career can opt to live in the Business Community. Located in LeFevre Hall, the community is a great opportunity for those pursuing a business-related field to interact and study together. The community has a strong partnership between the Haworth College of Business and the Office of Residence Life.

House highlights

• Residents are a mixture of pre-business students and those with an interest in a business-related career
• Activities include dinner with Haworth College of Business faculty and staff and field trips to area businesses
• Opportunities to interact with alumni and upperclass students connected with the Haworth College of Business
• Tutoring services located in Valley II aimed at the needs of first-year and pre-business students
• Student staff member in the Haworth College of Business
• There is a fitness room located in Eicher Hall
• Dining hall located in Eicher Hall offers Late-night Carryout until 11 p.m.
• Eicher Hall located in Valley II

How do I sign up for the community?

During the online sign-up process you will be asked to select a special interest housing option. Simply select Business House as your preference and indicate LeFevre Hall as your first choice. Space is limited after May 15, so list an additional three residence hall preferences. If you have a roommate preference, both you and your roommate must request each other in order to be matched in the community. If your requested roommate is not in the Haworth College of Business, we may not be able to place you together in the Business Community if interest in the house is high.

Current WMU students interested in living in the Business Community should come to the Office of Residence Life to sign up.
