Laundry locations vary by complex.
All mail is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, and any problems should be reported directly to them. Individual apartment boxes for incoming mail are located in each stairwell. The names of all occupants of the apartment must be noted inside the mailbox in order for mail to be delivered. WMU Apartment addresses are regular Kalamazoo addresses, not campus mail, so the words "Western Michigan University" should not be listed in your address as this will delay or prevent delivery.

WMU Apartment residents are eligible for a free WMU Apartment parking permit. All motor vehicles, including motorcycles, must be registered and parked in a lot designated by the permit. The permit is free when you register your vehicle at Parking Services and will require your identification, state-issued vehicle registration and apartment lease or contract.
If you have pest concerns, please contact Residence Life at (269) 387-4735 to have a licensed exterminator inspect your room.

Students who live in Elmwood, Goldsworth or Stadium Drive apartments must request phone services from the Information Technology and are billed at the rate of $15 per month to their WMU student account. Voicemail or call waiting features are also available for a monthly fee. There is a one-time charge of $23 for adding phone service or an additional feature. Long distance service is handled by personal cell phones or the use of pre-paid calling cards which are sold at the WMU Bookstore in the Bernhard Center.
All utilities, as well as basic cable and local phone service, are connected and available when you arrive. Cost for service is included in rent payments
Waste removal, recycling service and basic cable are included in rent payments. Each resident is responsible for their portion of water, gas and electric utilities. Details are provided prior to move-in.
