Lee Honors College
Beyond the Classroom
Our program of study is enhanced by other opportunities facilitated by the Lee Honors College. We encourage you to take advantage of the WMU Study Centers in Mexico, France, Russia, and Spain, or other foreign sites offered through the Office of International Affairs. Students may choose study abroad for an upper level honors requirement.
The Lee Honors College encourages inquiry based learning through independent study, research, and creative activities in libraries, archives, laboratories, and studios. You can receive credit for doing independent work under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Honors students are also involved in internships and community service-learning projects arranged through their academic departments and Student Volunteer Services (SVS).
