Advising
One of the benefits of being an honors student is that you have the availability of a dedicated advising staff. Sue Oole, our full-time academic advisor, and Sarah Hagen, our graduate assistant, will see you through the honors program from orientation to graduation. The advising staff will assist you by explaining both university and honors requirements. You will receive an annual honors audit and all of the necessary information for graduating from the Lee Honors College. An added benefit for honors students is priority registration. This allows you to get the courses you want and need to fulfill the requirements of your chosen major.
- To schedule an advising appointment, please call the LHC office at (269) 387-3230 and speak with our front desk staff. The office is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Sue Oole is the advisor for all LHC juniors and seniors. Sarah Hagen is the advisor for all LHC freshmen and sophomores.
- When e-mailing an advisor, be sure to include your WIN. If you are asking to add and/or drop a course, please include the CRN for each course. If you have already received written permission from the instructor, please include or forward that e-mail. We need that information from you in writing to complete your request.
