Exhibit - "McCrimmon's View: The Maritime Photography of Roy S. McCrimmon"

This exhibit was researched, conceptualized, designed, and installed for the MMM by Michael Chiarappa and Szylvian and students from WMU's 1998 summer Field School in Great Lakes Maritime community History. Working from the historic lightkeeper's dwelling, WMU faculty students used the recent acquisition of 5,000 historic photos and negatives to interpret the transformation of South Haven's waterfront from an industrial to recreational center during the first half of this century. The team also conserved and organized the extensive MMM collection. Funding for exhibit fabrication was provided by a private donor, the MMM, and in-kind services from WMU.
