
From October 31 to November 4, Josef Hoben,German writer, will be on campus. Invited to WMU under the auspices of the University Visiting Scholars and Artists Program, Mr. Hoben, is hosted by Prof. Peter Blickle of Foreign Languages.Mr. Hoben will discuss with historians and history students his involvement in a historical project Tuesday November 1 at 2:00 p.m. on “A German City’s Struggle With Its Wartime Dead,” followed by a discussion. On November 3, at 8:00 p.m. he will give a public reading from his novel Lossprechung (Talking about Redemption). This event is sponsored by Foreign Languages, History and others.
