Graduate Students
Over fifty graduate students currently study, teach, and conduct research in the History Department. The History Graduate Student Organization (HGSO) is an advocacy group for graduate students and sponsors guest lectures, workshops for professional development, and social events. History graduate students have recently been funded to undertake archival research in Britain, France, Russia, Spain, Italy, Peru, and the United States. They also serve as members of departmental committees and as representatives to university committees.
