Areas of Specialization

History Department faculty members teach and research a wide range of subjects, covering diverse places and many time periods. They also support specialized graduate programs and areas of emphasis that bridge their interests and those of students. Over the course of the year, the Department sponsors public lectures, workshops, and colloquia designed to gather those interested in these areas.
