Faculty and Staff

The History Department has over thirty full-time faculty members who teach and research many aspects of North American, European, and World history. As practicing research historians, the faculty not only publishes its work but also conveys research skills and findings to our students. Because the department emphasizes the importance of good teaching, a number of faculty have received teaching awards. If you are a prospective student, either graduate or undergraduate, we hope that you will spend some time getting to know our faculty using their faculty profiles, which contain information about their teaching and research interests, as well as contact information and links to their websites.
