Since 2002, I have been teaching History 3290: Michigan History.

Professional Experience

I am the Regional History Curator for the Western Michigan University Archives and Regional History Collections. In addition, I have been in the public history field for thirty years working as a museum curator, speaker, historical researcher, writer and librarian.

The main focus of my research is on state, regional and local history specializing on the history of Kalamazoo and its vicinity. Another area of interest is architectural history.

Other Professional Activies
