Financial Aid/Scholarships Whitney Young Scholar Award(s)
The School of Social Work has a limited number of scholarships available to assist students during their programs of study. The criterion for each scholarship varies. Applications are provided by the School of Social Work and are due before the start of the fall semester each year. Applications for the following scholarships are not provided until the applicant is accepted into a master of social work program.

Whitney Young Scholar Award(s). Full-time undergraduates and graduate students from any department of WMU are eligible. Students are nominated by faculty or staff. Nominees must have at least a 3.0 GPA and have a history of community service.
