
The School of Social Work has a limited number of scholarships available to assist students during their programs of study. The criterion for each scholarship varies. Applications are provided by the School of Social Work and are due before the start of the fall semester each year. Applications for the following scholarships are not provided until the applicant is accepted into a master of social work program.
The WMU Student Financial Aid Office. The Student Financial Aid Office facilitates application to various financial assistance programs. For all loan information, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid early in the application process. Early loan applications have priority. It is best to apply between January 1 and March 1.
Assistance is provided to some students through the school in the form of scholarships. The school also awards graduate assistantships insofar as funding is available. Fellowships, assistantships, and associateships may also be available through the Office of Student Financial Aid.
