John Josten Alumni Scholarship
This scholarship, established to honor the first director of the Physician Assistant Program at WMU, is awarded annually (as funds are available). One scholarship is awarded to a first year student (after completion of 2 semesters) and one to a second year student. Candidates must be students in good standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) in the PA program and demonstrate “Unmet Need” for financial assistance.

Helen Elizabeth Gibbens Endowed Scholarship for the Physician Assistant Program
This scholarship, established to honor a former Sindecuse Health Center nurse, will be awarded annually (as funds are available) based primarily upon financial need. Candidates must be students in good standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) after completion of 2 semesters in the PA program and demonstrate “Unmet Need” for financial assistance.
