Financial Aid/Scholarships/Student Services

When you are admitted to the university you are assigned a Western Identification Number (WIN Number) which provides access through the University website to the Student Services Portal (Go WMU).  The student services portal provides links to the following services:

 

Academic Services
View the course catalog, current offerings, curriculum information, unofficial progress to degree evaluation, unofficial transcript, midterm and final grades, holds, obtain an enrollment verification certificate, and request an Official Transcript

 

Financial Aid
View financial aid and scholarship award information for undergraduate and graduate students

The occupational therapy scholarship program includes: local and national chapters of the American Business Clubs (AMBUCS), the Schott Memorial Scholarship, the Thomas Scholarship, the Boughey Scholarship, and the Knights of the Round Table Scholarship.  The department does receive support for Graduate Assistantships.

Some funding is available through professional organizations such as the American Occupational Therapy Association.  At the graduate level, fellowships, and assistantships, may also be available through The Graduate College.

First-Year Experience Programs
Orientation, Fall Welcome, and First-Year Seminar Registration

Information on student support services is provided to incoming students through the program orientation meeting for new students and through the Orientation CD (supplemental document).
