Programs

Nursing, the largest health care profession, is dedicated to the delivery of first-line health and illness care to patients and families across the lifespan.

The four-year baccalaureate degree offers graduates the widest range of options for nursing careers in such settings as hospitals, home care, public health, clinics, schools, hospice, occupational settings, and health and wellness centers.  It prepares graduates for leadership and management roles and is required for entry into master’s or doctoral programs.

A graduate program leading to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) began in fall 2006.  Two areas of study were developed for this program: nurse educators and nurse leaders/managers.
