(Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health) restricted
Indexes over 1,000 journals in nursing and related fields with abstracts from 1986 to the present and indexing from 1982 to the present. Updated weekly.

Cochrane Library
Evidence-based medicine databases including systematic reviews and a controlled trials register on the effects of health care.

ComDis Dome (Communications Sciences and Disorders Dome) restricted
The ComDis Dome is an index for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and students. It includes articles, books, dissertations, grants, Web resources, scholars and institutions pertinent to your profession. You must search our local library catalog to find the books or articles, or use the link from the Dome to purchase them. An animated tutorial is available on the site.

The Dome offers features not found in typical research databases:
* Save and share - annotate and share results with others
* Authors' Database - detailed author profiles with contact information and linked publication records
* Exporting - into management software such as Endnote and Procter.

Communication Abstracts

Use this source in combination with the electronic indexes described in this guide and for older material not covered in the electronic indexes. You should probably not rely on this index alone, since the other indexes in this list are often more comprehensive. 1978-present. Published six times a year.

OVID Nursing Collection restricted
Indexes hundreds of nursing journals and provides full text access to over forty of these journals. Searches can be limited just to full text or review articles. Updated daily.

Psychological Abstracts BF 1 .P65 (General Stacks)
Covers world-wide literature in psychology and related disciplines. Journal articles, technical reports, books, book chapters, and dissertations are included. Coverage: 1887-present. Updated weekly.

PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's interface for searching MEDLINE, the major index to medical research, from clinical medicine to cellular and biomolecular biology. Provides free citations and abstracts, but limited full text. Coverage: 1966 - present. Updated weekly.

Medline Plus
Health information from the National Library of Medicine presented accessibly for professionals and non-professionals.

Medscape
One time registration required. Free access to Medline, and access to full-text medical articles.

Science Direct restricted
Database for scientific research that contains the citations and abstracts of more than 1,800 Elsevier journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences as well as selected full text articles. Science Direct can be searched as a database or browsed by individual title. Coverage varies.
