Dissertations and Theses (ProQuest) (WMU University Libraries)
Indexes dissertations and theses in all fields from over 1,000 universities. Abstracts are available from 1980 for doctoral dissertations and from 1988 for masters theses. Indexing goes back to 1861. 24-page previews and full text PDF's of the whole dissertation are available from 1997, with some earlier coverage, unless restricted by the author. Those dissertations not available in full text may be requested through interlibrary loan or ordered directly from UMI for a fee.

Family Index (WMU University Libraries)
Selectively indexes over 2,200 journals related to the subject of the family, including parenting, welfare and sexuality. Coverage: 1995-present. Updated monthly.

Mental Measurements Yearbook (WMU University Libraries)
Contains overviews, descriptions and one or more reviews of many English-language standardized tests of educational skills, personality, psychological traits, and related areas. Entries also give references to the print edition (s).

Because the information about each article includes the article's cited reference list (or bibliography), you can also search the databases for articles that cite a known author or work.
