Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center is located on the first floor of the Health and Human Services Building at Western Michigan University. It is a place to meet with other students for study groups, dialogue, exploration, conferences and career guidance. The Learning Resource Center is designed to enhance the educational experience for health and human services students.
The Learning Resource Center is staffed by students and complements the college by providing access to learning materials and computers. The collection includes assorted software, textbooks, basic reference books, DVDs, videos, journals and includes a two-hour reserve program.
Hours of operation
Fall and spring
Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Summer I
Monday through Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Summer II
Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This form must be completed by faculty member to allow students to check materials out of the Learning Resource Center for one week. Faculty member will be responsible if materials are not returned. - Occupational therapy assessment test form
This form must be completed by faculty member authorizing students to remove test forms from Learning Resource Center. All test forms are contained in locked cabinets and require assistance from Learning Resource Center employee - Faculty two-hour reserve request
Must be completed by faculty and Learning Resource Center employees when placing items on reserve for student use for the semester. Items on "reserve" may be checked out for two hours by students, but cannot leave the Learning Resource Center.
