The WMU Center for Disability Services has responded to the needs of people with disabilities since 1981.
What We Can Do
- Provide personal care

Any individual with a disability who needs support to reach personal goals.
Special Services
- We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
- We are a contract provider for Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
- CDS is a part of Western Michigan University which allows us access to departmental programs such as Music Therapy, Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) and the swimming pool at the Student Recreation Center.
- We operate an Integrated Art Studio in downtown Kalamazoo.
