Accessing via the Virtual Private Network
If you are prompted for a User ID and PIN while trying to access any links in GoWMU other than Payment and Account Information, you can use the University’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) in order to access these links.

When Accessing Payment and Account Information from a Workplace
Workplace firewalls frequently cause users to be prompted for a University ID and PIN. If you have trouble from your workplace, we recommend trying another internet connection, either via a cellular device over a data network, or at a different location. You can also attempt to use another internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome). These users may be able to access this page through the Network Connect or Authorized User solutions detailed below.
When Accessing Payment and Account Information from Home
This issue is typically seen when accessing the page via a satellite internet provider. Your provider’s firewall may be restricting you from accessing this page through GoWMU, which is why you’re being prompted for a University ID and PIN. You can attempt to use another internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome), your cellular device over a data network, or access the site from another location/internet connection. You may be able to access this page through the Network Connect or Authorized User solutions detailed below.
Older Apple Computers
Apple computers running OS X versions older than 10.8.0 may experience this issue due to being out of date. You can find what version you’re running through the Apple Menu in the upper left-hand corner, and selecting “About This Mac”. Users on a version older (lower) than 10.8.0 may be able to update their machine through the “Updates” section of the App Store. These machines cannot access this page through the Network Connect solution detailed below, however they may gain access to the site through the Authorized User solution.
Accessing via Network Connect
Users prompted for a University ID/PIN may be able to utilize the Network Connect Utility in order to access the page successfully. Instructions on how to setup this utility are available on the Virtual Private Network self-help site.
Accessing as an Authorized User
Users prompted for a University ID/PIN can create an Authorized User account for themselves in order to access the page successfully. This will allow access to Payment and Account Information whenever prompted for a University ID and PIN, from any location or machine.
