Setting up Windows Live Mail 2011

  1. Launch Windows Live Mail 2011 (it may be downloaded from here:
  2. Select the Accounts tab from the top menu and click the Add Email Account symbol.
  3. When the Add your email accounts form appears, fill in your email address, your password and a display name for your sent messages.
  4. Check the Manually configure server settings and click Next.
  5. Select IMAP from the Incoming Server type drop-down box.

    Enter for the incoming server address and enter Port 993.

    Check Requires a secure connection (SSL) box.

    Enter your Bronco NetID for the outgoing server address and enter Port 587.

    Check the Requires authentication box for the Outgoing server and click Next.
  6. Click Finish to complete the email account setup.
