GRADUATE STUDENT ASSESSMENT GRANT

The University Assessment Steering Committee (UASC) and the Graduate College are proud to jointly sponsor the Graduate Student Assessment Grant (GSAG) competition, a new award that furthers academic excellence and intellectual inquiry as well as provides a rare opportunity for students and faculty to engage in assessment scholarship that benefits the institution and the wider academic community. The award also encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue through a scholarly exchange of ideas. The GSAG will be given once a year, with grants of up to $1,000 available. Graduate students in any field who are conducting research related to assessment are invited to submit a proposal. Submission deadline is Wednesday, February 1, 2012, with the award to be announced on March 23, during the Assessment in Action Day event.

Please click onto the link below to access important information regarding the award and students' eligibility. The Graduate College will sponsor two preparatory sessions for graduate students on Tuesday, January 17, in the OVPR Conference Room A (264 W), located on the second floor of Walwood Hall.
