GRADUATE STUDENT ASSESSMENT GRANT
The University Assessment Steering Committee (UASC) and the Graduate College are proud to jointly sponsor the Graduate Student Assessment Grant (GSAG) competition, a new award that furthers academic excellence and intellectual inquiry as well as provides a rare opportunity for students and faculty to engage in assessment scholarship that benefits the institution and the wider academic community. The award also encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue through a scholarly exchange of ideas. The GSAG will be given once a year, with grants of up to $1,000 available. Graduate students in any field who are conducting research related to assessment are invited to submit a proposal. Submission deadline is Wednesday, February 1, 2012, with the award to be announced on March 23, during the Assessment in Action Day event.
