Dr. Ann Veeck is an affiliated faculty member of the global and international studies program and is a professor of marketing in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University.
She has studied the food marketing systems of China for more than 20 years, conducting field projects in numerous cities, including Nanjing, Beijing, Yangzhou, Changchun and Shijiazhuang. Her China-related research has been published in numerous journals, edited volumes and proceedings. In addition, she is a co-author of the textbook Marketing Research (Burns, Veeck, and Bush ; Pearson Press). Veeck has taught in China, the Dominican Republic, Singapore and Italy.
She was named as the Outstanding Marketing Scholar in the Practices of China by the Marketing Advances Society (2004) and received the Axcess Capon Teaching Innovation Award from the Marketing Management Association (2012). In addition, she has received the top award in both teaching (2013) and research (2016) from the Haworth College of Business. Veeck holds a Master of Marketing Research degree from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. in marketing from Louisiana State University. Still, her favorite NCAA team is—of course—the Broncos.
