Hydrogeology Field Course Logistical Support

The Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Western Michigan University deeply values our Hydrogeology Field Course. As such, we try to do everything we can to help accommodate our HFC participants. To this end, we have compiled a list of resources that we hope will make  your visit to Kalamazoo as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Lodging

HFC participants are responsible for securing their own lodging and meals. Participants visiting Kalamazoo from elsewhere should consult the following options for information regarding temporary lodging.

Child care

The Children’s Place Learning Center is conveniently located on WMU’s campus, directly across from Rood Hall, the home of the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences.

Parking

Those HFC participants who will be driving their personal vehicles to campus are required ti purchase a parking pass from Parking Services for the term that they are enrolled. Parking passes for these sessions are currently $65.
