ROTC ActivitiesActivities & Therapy Building on Oakland Drive

ROTC team-building activities and equipment/uniform issue.  ROTC students who are First Year Seminar students will be released for the First Year Seminar kick-off at 1 p.m.


Bronco BusinessMeetup point - ask your ambassador for location

Residence Hall students and commuter students that checked in on Monday, spend the morning with your Ambassador learning amore about campus and taking care of those important before-classes-start errands. Visit the bookstore, take a ride to Parkview Campus or East Hall, learn where your classes are, and more

If you’re in ROTC, TRIO SSP, MLK Academy, or Lee Honors College, you have other activities at this time. See the scheduled activities below.


TRIO Student Success Program (SSP) Kick-Off157-158 Bernhard Center

All students participating in TRIO SSP should attend this activity.  Welcome to the start of your program!  After our kick-off, you will eat lunch and then attend the FYS kick-off.


Martin Luther King (MLK) Academy Kick-OffMulticultural Center, Trimpe

For all MLK Academy students, this is your official welcome to the Division of Multicultural Affairs!  After this, you’ll eat lunch and then attend the FYS kick-off.


Final Freshman OrientationHaworth College of Business

For all new Broncos that did NOT attend summer Orientation, this session is your opportunity to register for classes and participate in a condensed version of Orientation.


Open timeStudent Recreation Center

If you moved in on Monday, you are invited to use the Student Recreation Center during this time.


Parent receptions, Western Edge presentationLocation to be determined

All students who arrived on Monday, please dine in your assigned cafeteria from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Residence Hall students and family members arriving today, feel free to stop the cafeteria to grab lunch.  Students, you MUST show your Fall Welcome nametag so you and your family can enter the cafeteria.  Hoekje/Bigelow will remain open until 5 p.m.

First-Year Seminar Kick-OffMiller Auditorium

New Broncos, get ready for a great start to your academic year!  Attend the First-Year Seminar kick-off with your Ambassador and meet your instructors.  Eat lunch before you attend.  Eat dinner afterwards.


Commuter Student Check-InLocation to be determined

Commuter students participating ONLY in the Fall Welcome program should check in at 4 p.m. and enjoy a welcome reception especially for you. After the program, you will meet your group, have dinner with your group, and participate in social activities this evening.

All FYS students, eat dinner in your assigned cafeterias after your kick-off meeting; then enjoy free time until Travelin’ Max!


Residence Life MeetingResidence halls

Residence Hall students who moved in today will attend a short, informational meeting with the floor Resident Assistant.


The Round-up: Meet Your AmbassadorFlagpoles and Goldsworth Valley Pond
Rain site: SRC Indoor Tennis Courts

Residence Hall students and commuter students who checked in today will meet their group and Ambassador at Goldsworth Valley Pond or the flagpoles.  Check information available in the lobby of your residence hall for more details.

A grill out will be held for all transfer students at 6:30 p.m.

Residence Hall students and commuter students who checked-in today, you will eat dinner with your group in your assigned cafeteria.


Travelin’ MaxGoldsworth Valley Pond
Rain site: SRC indoor tennis courts

Travelin’ Max is the perfect opportunity to kick off Fall Welcome Right! Come join the Campus Activity Board for the interactive, energetic live performance of Travelin’ Max!  Get to know your Fall Welcome Ambassador and group while showing off your Bronco pride!


Buster's Moonlight StampedeStart at Student Recreation Center

Check out this fun, NEW event!  Put on your jogging shoes, grab a buddy, and join us on a 3k (approximately 1.8 miles) run and walk through campus.  This non-competitive event is open to students of all skill levels- whether you’re a seasoned runner or would prefer to walk the course with your friends.  We will begin and end at the tennis courts of the Student Recreation Center.  All participants will receive a prize, and stick around afterward for food and fun at the SRC!
