Fall Welcome

2012 Event Schedule

You will receive the full schedule of events with complete details when you check-in for Fall Welcome. Events marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

Attendance will be recorded and students who participate in all required events during the week will be eligible for grand prize drawings at the conclusion of the program, including partial tuition, a laptop, a mountain bike, and a parking pass.

Monday, Aug. 26

Move-in

Students registered for First-Year Seminar (FYE 2100), Lee Honors College (LHC), ROTC and Air Force ROTC

  • 9 a.m. - Noon: last names A - K
  • 1 - 4 p.m.: last names L - Z

Students in Final Freshman Orientation move in 9 a.m. - Noon, regardless of last name.

Don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item for Fall Welcome Gives Back! Look for the donation box in your residence hall.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Lunch in the dining halls
11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Parent and Family Hospitality Tent

Parents and families, stop by our tent for some refreshments, raffles, and your WMU gift. Connect with WMU faculty, staff, students, and administrators. You can also write a note to your college student that will be delivered later in the semester.
