It is especially important for commuter students to participate in Fall Welcome. Since commuters do not live on campus, they do not receive as much exposure to campus resources and happenings as students who live in the residence halls.
Fall Welcome is a fantastic way for commuters to become familiar with campus, learn how to get involved, and discover key resources for their first semester. All of these elements are crucial to a student's success his/her first semester. Additionally, commuters will meet other students and make social connections that will help them ease the transition from high school to college.
The Fall Welcome fee for commuter students is $165.
