
Fall Welcome is a four-day program that assists first-year students with their academic and social transitions to college life. Building on the foundation created at summer orientation, Fall Welcome will connect first-year students with WMU, other students, faculty, and staff. All first-year students interested in getting a head start on their college careers must attend Fall Welcome.

Move in Monday, August 25 for students participating in Leadership Track, First Year Seminar, MLK program, ROTC Scholarship, Engineering College Transition Program (CTP), Lee Honors College, Kalamazoo Promise, Seita scholarship recipients, Trio SSP, Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA), and Final Freshmen Orientation
Move in Tuesday, August 26 for general Fall Welcome participants and transfer students
Your move in time will be determined by which residence hall you will be living in please review the move-in schedule.

By attending Fall Welcome you will have the opportunity to meet over two thousand other students; participate in interest sessions that will help you prepare for college; connect with faculty and staff; move into your residence hall room 3 days early; have early access to the Bookstore; receive a FREE Fall Welcome t-shirt; be entered to win daily prize drawings; participate in social activities such as dances, entertainment, concerts, a downtown Kalamazoo scavenger hunt; and Student Recreation Center activities.
