E-learining Workshop Suggestions

Our current e-learning system uses Blackboard Learning Systems, Vista Enterprise. This is the same product formerly known as WebCT Vista before Blackboard bought WebCT in the Spring of 2006. You may still see or hear our e-learning tool refered to as WebCT, WebCT Vista, or Bb Vista.

These are a series of 1 hour workshops aimed at getting you up and going with Bb quickly

These are two day workshops (6 hrs each day) that cover how to plan, build, and teach with Vista. This two day series covers much of the same material as the Vista Build and Teach series below. These are offered during break periods only (e.g. Spring Break).

The Vista overview course explains Blackboard Vista features and how the server is organized. The build course is a pre-requisite for most of the Vista workshops offered that aren't a part of the Quick Start Series. These sessions introduce you to the Vista and get you started on building your course by selecting the tools to use in your course and building your learning modules. They provide more in-depth looks at various tools avialable in Bb Vista.
