The Friends of Historic East Campus is an organization of alumni, faculty, students, and friends of Western Michigan University. We are actively involved with Western Michigan University in developing plans to preserve this site and the remaining buildings on old Prospect Hill. You can become part of this effort to preserve these architectural treasures by joining Friends of Historic East Campus.

The "Friends" recognize the economic challenges of achieving our ambitioius goals but remain optimistic that this magnificent Universitiy and community resources can be saved., We labor not only for the sake of shared fond memories of our proud past, but also to inspire future generations of Western students to utilize the spaces to the fullest extend. The Hilltop Campus is not just a birthplace; it is a launching pad for future growth of the University.

This link will take you to the WMU Foundation webpage where online donations are made Choose a method and then select "Other" (FOHEC is listed under "other") from the designation drop down menu and then type "East Campus Preservation" in the "Other" text box - to the right.
