WMU makes certain grants-in-aid available to students excelling in athletics and participating in varsity sports. A student must be recommended by the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.

This scholarship is available to returning, full-time, under-represented students who have demonstrated evidence of public and volunteer service. The minimum GPA required is 2.5. For details, see the application.
