Michigan Community College Transfer Students
To be considered for a Competitive Transfer Scholarship, all admission materials (including official transcripts) must be postmarked by March 1 or earlier and sent to the Office of Admissions. Eligibility for Primary Transfer Scholarships requires all admission materials be postmarked by May 15. Candidates must also have completed at least 26 transferable semester hours (and updated transcripts sent) by these deadlines. After admission, eligible candidates will be contacted by the Office of Admissions.

Criteria
- Most recent work completed must be from a Michigan community college
- Available to new transfer students entering in 2010 (not exclusive to fall entry students) who submitted an admission application and official transcript(s) postmarked by deadline of March 1
- 3.75 minimum grade point average in transferable courses
- Completion of Associates degree by the time of enrollment at WMU
- Selected by Transfer Scholarship Committee
- Full-time enrollment required at WMU

- 3.5 minimum grade point average in transferable courses
- Selected by Michigan community college presidents
- Full-time enrollment required at WMU

- 3.5 minimum grade point average in transferable courses
- Membership in good standing in Phi Theta Kappa
- Associate degree preferred, but not required
- Selected by Transfer Scholarship Committee
- Full-time enrollment required at WMU
