By
completing the one
application, HCOB students are eligible to be considered for following
scholarships:
- HCOB Academic Achievement Award
- Bernadine Branchaw Award
- Alfred Pugno Award
- Fifth/Third Bank - Southwest
- GMEEOC
- Kalamazoo Gazette Scholarship
- Norman Clark
Perkins Memorial Business Scholarship
The Haworth College of Business Scholarship Committee decides on the
distribution of scholarship money available to our students within 3
categories.
- BUSINESS COMMUNITY AWARDS
These awards are usually based solely on your academic achievement
within the College.
- Students are usually entering their senior year
- and are within the top 5% of grade point averages
- Some major or home resident requirements may be considered
- ENDOWMENT
AWARDS
These awards are usually based solely on a student's need factor.
- Grade point average must reflect good standing within the
University.
- Applicant must be displaying progress toward graduation.
- If you are applying on the basis of need, please so indicate
on your application and biographical information.
- HAWORTH
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
These awards are funded by alumni donations. Awards are based on College
achievement and extracurricular activities within the College and
University. Students should secure 3 recommendations:
- List names and addresses of three persons who will provide
recommendations for you. (Two must be WMU faculty members -
one of these should be from your major area.)
- Students will need to print of a copy
of the application and 3 recommendation
forms.
