Music Scholarships

Scholarship Conditions

Certain conditions for holding a music scholarship will be stipulated at the time of award.  These conditions include such requirements as maintaining a certain GPA, being a full-time music major, study with appropriate faculty member, performing in School of Music ensembles, providing library assistance, accompanying or other professional services.  All special conditions relating to a scholarship are stated in writing prior to the student's accepting the award.

The School of Music adheres to the code of ethics of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASN).  The acceptance of a scholarship by an applicant is considered a declaration of intent to attend the institution; after May 1, the applicant may not consider any other offer from an NASM member institution without the written consent of the first institution.  Similarly, a transfer applicant from another NASM-accredited college or university cannot be considered for a scholarship.
