Edward Ravitz Memorial Scholarsip in Construction Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

Admitted as an incoming, full-time (at least 12 credit hours) freshman undergraduate student majoring in pre-engineering-construction at WMU
Must have a minimum 3.3 high school GPA

Award

$4,000 per academic year for each of the four year, nonrenewable. Award distributed half during the fall semester and half during the spring semester and applied to tuition, fees, books, and educational expenses related to the general well being of the student. Awarded to one new freshman, contingent on funding availablity.

Criteria for Continuance:

Minimum 3.3 GPA at WMU
Enrolled as an undergraduate student in construction engineering
Contingent on funding availability

Kalamazoo Builders Exchange Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants may be recommended by a member of the Builders Exchange

Shall be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student majoring in construction engineering, materials engineering and industrial design. Preference shall be given to juniors and seniors who have experience in the construction industry through an internship or part-time work with special preference for association with the Kalamazoo Builders Exchange.

Preference will be given to individuals living within the greater Southwest Michigan area

Coursework elected by students supported through this program must be applicable toward a degree program relevant to the construction industry

Must be a full-time student

Award

Award Amount: $1000 ($500 fall /$500 spring)
