Award Amount: $500 – $1,000, awarded annually

George Bradley Physics Award

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate student in physics
  • Outstanding performance in the areas of coursework, teaching, and research

Award

Award Amount: $500, awarded upon graduation. Name is added to plaque located in the George Bradley Physics Common.

Leo R. Parpart Physics Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in physics
  • Preference will be given to female applicants from Asiatic/Oriental countries. In addition, recipients should understand awards are for individuals who are committed to returning to a teaching and/or research position in the physical sciences in their home country.
  • Also, preference will be given to students involved directly with experimental accelerator physics/operation/development; second priority to theorists in same areas of concentration; third priority to theoretical physics not related to accelerators; finally, to any and all other aspects of physics.
