Abstract
This evaluation examines both the Family Literacy Program and the Iglesias de Esperanzas program. The broad objectives for the evaluation are to (1) ascertain the effect of the programs on the students in participating families, (2) determine the improvement of English as a second language and parenting skills for the parents in participating families, (3) ascertain the degree of change in at-home parent/child literacy and language activities, and (4) provide information on the successes and challenges of programs to the Literacy Center of West Michigan.
