The Gibbs House for Environmental Research and Education (GHERE)

is a program of Western Michigan University's Environmental Institute that focuses on undergraduate research and community engagement. We offer year-long fellowships to undergraduates who design and execute projects that improve local environmental sustainability within numerous disciplines. The Gibbs House is also a place where community groups meet and hold events, WMU classes have hands-on lessons, and free workshops are hosted.
