III. Literature and English language courses (10-12 credits)
- A. Two courses chosen from among the following:

IV. Elective courses
At least one additional English Department course at the 2000, 3000, 4000, or
5000 level to complete the major. The following courses cannot be
used for this purpose: 1000, 1050, 1070, 1110, 1120, 3070, 3110, or 4800.
V. Foreign language requirement
Minimum of two semesters of a modern or classical foreign language at the college level, or two years of such study at the high school level. One year at the high school level coupled with the second semester of the same language at the college level is also satisfactory.
